J-10 Village

Joseph runs the J-10 Village mission in Kenya

The J-10 Village is a very special mission we support located in Kenya and run by a Friend of the Church, Joseph. The Village, a registered community development project, is a community that offers housing, agricultural training, food security, and more to widows and orphans. They plant gardens and raise chickens as well. At the village the women and children learn about gardening, animal husbandry (they got a cow and it had a baby!), raising chickens, growing trees, and maintaining water tanks.

Our church has been helping this village since 2015. We provide food, school supplies, gifts, and treats. We also directly support a young girl that wants to become a nurse. She will be graduating soon.

When Joseph started the Village, people were dying and starving to death. While they have made great progress, they still need help and are now struggling for clean water and have no transportation for their project. The church continues to offer as much support as possible. If you would like to help out you can always make a donation and indicate that your funds are to be directed to J-10 Village.
