The definitive book on the use of cannabis as a religious sacrament throughout history
April 14, 2014

I’m done arguing with people who don’t acknowledge the use of cannabis as a healing agent and religious sacrament long before the bible and then during both the old and new testaments. This book is very well researched and referenced. It shows all the lies and propaganda produced by big industry in the 1930’s that lead to the marijuana tax act of 1937. Cannabis has never been the “Devil Weed” that we were lied to about and absolutely contains both herbal healing qualities, and for some it does enhance spiritual and religious awareness.

There is way to much to try to cover in a review. I thought it was an excellent book. Low on flash, dash, glamor and typesetting and very high in research, facts and quality of presentation. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

It will blow your mind

This book will slam all those who make the claim that the bible preaches against Marijuana use, not only does it demonstrate that the ancient Israelites used Mary Jane but it also shows how many other ancient religions use to partake in this sacrament to commune with the Most High God. Read, Re-Read and then educate others.

This book is a must have book for anyone wanting a clearer understanding of marijuana as a holy sacrament, and it use in religious practices around the world! I have purchased several of these books and past them along to friends involved in the marijuana legalization movement!

Documented Beyond Doubt
March 22, 2012

Well with a title like this, before you read it, there is the bias that it won’t really be believable. That is not the case, however, with this little gem. When Brown gets finished with his extensive and readable documentation, there is no doubt that marijuana was used by almost all religions, and is most certainly an important part of The Bible’s legacy. “The Holy Anointing Oil” Chapter by far is the most shocking. Here we learn that Jesus and other holy men (and maybe women) actually used an oil of Cannabis to get to a state of holiness and self-knowledge. This book is so chock full of proof that Marijuana was an accepted and respected sacrament in the days of Biblical times, it makes a person wonder how it could have been hidden for so long. But then again, that was the goal of the Institutionalized Church, although the politics behind hiding the truth is not part of Brown’s agenda. He does point out, however all the ways that cannabis was mis-translated over the centuries to keep its reality from emerging. He is a reporter with a ton of facts to prove his thesis. In addition, Brown is himself a believer and a partaker of the Holy Sacrament of Marijuana, and has been for a long time. He makes no excuses and includes his correspondence to obtain permission from the government and DEA to use his sacrament as part of his religioun. Of course, the government does not comply! He is a Rastafarian from the time he was a teenager, having been taught the religion by the Elders of the Ethiopian Zionist Church decades ago. Brown has a style of writing that is very down-to-earth, nothing pompous or know-it-all in his attitude in spite of the fact that he is a very well-versed scholar on this topic and has obviously researched it all with sincere determination, leaving no stone unturned. If you are interested in the truth about Marijuana and The Bible and want to read its history with ease, clarity and without any nonsense – this is a great book. Joan Bello
